Dermal Fillers instantly restore the skin’s volume and smooth away facial lines by filling in wrinkles, furrows lines and scars with injected material under the skin. The most common areas treated with Dermal Fillers are the creases that run from the bottom of your nose to the corners of your mouth, the lips and the cheeks.
Dermal fillers have many other applications such as eliminating the dark circles under the eyes, restoring lost facial volume and correcting facial and nasal asymmetries and deformities. Results can be truly life changing. We emply a painless cannula technique with essentially no post-injection bruising.
The most common form of dermal filler is hyaluronic acid, which exists naturally as a component of you skin. It is present in all living tissue – Inside cells and between cells. By binding to water, hyaluronic acid fills in wrinkles. Other types of dermal fillers are hydroxyapatite, l-polytactic acid, Platelet Rich Plasma, and autologous fat.

Radiesse® is made of very tiny calcium-based micro spheres in a water based gel that is injected into the deeper layers of the skin. It is called biphasic. What is unique about Radiesse® is that it works to provide structure as a filler and also stimulates your own natural collagen to grow. This process continues for several months, which extends the initial effect. In just one treatment, it’s possible to attain long-lasting rejuvenation. Radiesse® is infused with lidocaine making this non-invasive procedure very comfortable. There maybe slightly more bruising with Radiesse®, but this is very short lived.
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a natural filler derived from your own blood. A small vile of your blood sample is placed in a centrifuge and using a patented Selphyl® system, platelets cells and plasma are separated from the red blood cells. The plasma is then activated. The plasma and platelets are then injected into the areas of folds and wrinkles. Although the effects of PRP are similar to those of dermal fillers, the results last much longer, up to a year and a half. Even though it takes 4 to 6 weeks to realize the full benefits, the effects are long lasting because the growth factors in PRP stimulate creation on new cells and collagen. The effect is that of a glowing, healthy, radiant skin.
Microlipoinjections (Autologous Fat Transfers) is a procedure in which your own body fat is used to give volume to cheeks, chin, and lips or under the eye areas of the face. The process of using one’s own “autologous” fat cells is ideal for those patients who are looking to achieve the long-lasting effects of facial fullness. The microlipoinjections are conducted using the patented LipiVage® system which allows for faster, gentler fat cells harvesting (improving cell survival) and preparation technique which is then ready for use for facial sculpting in as little as 5 minutes. The procedure is good for a very select group of patients with facial volume loss.
